A Mushroom House in Eight Minutes!

New Zealand sculptor Kim Beaton’s new video demonstrates making a home for “Faery Folk” and showing it off in your garden. Using Pal Tiya, the super-clay, of course.

Kim says: Do the Faerie-Folk in your garden have nowhere to sleep? In 8 minutes Kim will show you step-by-step how to make a lovely dwelling for them in your garden that will last a lifetime, using Pal Tiya.

Recent Scientific research* has shown that many garden-dwelling Faerie-Folk now find it increasingly difficult to build the kinds of traditional shelter or dwelling that they are used to. It’s currently Winter time way over here in M̶i̶d̶d̶l̶e̶ ̶E̶a̶r̶t̶h New Zealand. Hollowed-out Pohutukawa-eggs, Binditwurdles, and discarded Kiwi-Burrows are hard to come by for them. So Kim decided to find a solution for these marginalized – yet delightfully cute – garden dwellers.
