Photos from The Great Con-junction, November 13, 2022

The world of Thra came to the Hilton in Universal City, California the weekend of November 12-13. It was the Great Con-junction, sponsored by Thames Con, with participation by The Jim Henson Company, in celebration of the 40th Anniversary of The Dark Crystal.

Opportunities for photos with the cast and crew abounded, from both the original movie and the sequel on Netflix, The Dark Crystal: The Age of Resistance.

Lisa Maxwell and Stephen Garlick, the voices of the Gelflings Kira and Jen, had tables in the Dealer’s Room and, for a price, allowed themselves to be photographed, as they did with me here:

There was also a Henson Museum on site, from which I took the following photos.

One display showed Baby Yoda’s older sister and Supreme Leader Snoke’s grandson:

There were also expensive group photos with fans of the original Dark Crystal cast and crew and Age of Resistance cast and crew. Here’s one with the originals preparing for their own shot.

More to come!
