Inside the Notorious Slug

By W. R. Miller on March 9, 2015

Jamie Benning has put together a documentary of what it took to bring Jabba the Hutt to life–aside from feeding him rubber frogs, that is. Benning interviews Jabba operator Toby Philpott, while much of the footage comes from the documentary, From Star Wars to Jedi: The Making of a Saga, December 1983, with some footage cut from that documentary but seen here for the first time.

From The Atlantic, uploaded March 9, 2015.
