From Darth Farmer to Darth Vader

What would Darth Vader sound like if he was voiced by Darth the actor who wore the costume? Listen to this excerpt from the 2004 documentary, Empire of Dreams:

Visual effects maestro Ken Ralston described it as “hilarious and terrifying at the same time, because we didn’t know what Darth sounded like. That was the first time we heard him. We’re like, ‘Is that it? Is he gonna be some Scottish guy? What is this?'”

A YouTube commentator pointed out that Prowse’s accent was actually “West Country English.”

George Lucas hired James Earl Jones to provide a more menacing voice. Jones talked about his contribution for the American Film Institute:

In 2015, Welsh rock musician Jayce Lewis seized the opportunity to record David Prowse over a period of two days and apply modern audio technology to make him sound closer to James Earl Jones’s performance. Did they succeed?
